NB GAS PRICE PREDICTIONS: Before the predictions…we should mention that the NBEUB tweeted overnight that they adjusted fuel prices…but their website doesn’t reflect any changes in prices…so that might be a mistake. As for tonight??? The experts think that regular gas prices are going UP tonight…they’re just not sure how much. One of the fellows we follow, Robert Jones from the CBC, says that a recent change by the EUB in the way they calculate gas prices has made it harder to predict. He does think diesel prices might DROP a bit.
ICYMI NB GAS PRICE UPDATE: Regular gas prices did NOT change at all on Friday in New Brunswick. Diesel dropped 2.2 cents. Furnace oil is down 2.1 cents. It’s a different story across the border in Nova Scotia where gas prices went UP almost 10 cents! Gas is almost 5 cents a litre cheaper here in Moncton this morning than it is in the Amherst area.
NB fuel prices (current maximums):
⛽Regular self serve – $1.85.2 a litre
⛽Diesel – $1.86.1
🛢️Furnace oil – $1.53.5
🔥Propane $1.23.7

He was reported missing to police yesterday, on April 24th. He is described as being approximately five feet four inches (162 centimetres) tall, and weighing approximately 150 pounds (68 kilograms). He has brown eyes and brown hair. A clothing description is not available at this time. Anyone who may have seen him since January 2024, or who has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
The Vitalité Health Network is reporting that it is nearly $98 million over budget for the first 11 months of the last fiscal year, mostly because of expenses related to travel nurses. The 190 full-time equivalent private agency staff was $94.2 million of the cost overrun between April 1, 2023 and Feb. 29, 2024. That’s about 12% of Vitalité’s budget.
