The City of Moncton invites you to come celebrate Canada Day in Downtown Moncton as part of New Brunswick’s largest July 1st festivities.
Moncton’s Whoa Canada! Celebrations, presented by National Bank, will offer more than just live music and fireworks. On Canada day, Moncton’s Riverfront will be host to various activities for all ages to enjoy.
This year’s Kids’ PlayZone, presented by hop! skip! jump! Indoor Play Space, has some great new features! Starting at 11 a.m., there will be inflatable games for the whole family to enjoy, a foam pit, vendors on site and much more. As a special treat, from noon to 3 p.m., Mad Science will operate a slime booth, where kids can make and take their own gooey creation!
*IMPORTANT*Please note that socks are required on all inflatable games and bouncy castles.
Stage entertainment in the Kids’ PlayZone presented by hop! skip! jump! Indoor Play Space will unfold as follows:
The Whoa Canada! Main stage, which will be located in the Riverfront Parking Lot, will be lit up from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. with performers:
Once the applause for Steven Page has quieted, the crowd’s attention will be directed to the riverfront, where the Tri-community Canada Day Fireworks, a presentation of the City of Moncton, the Town of Riverview and the City of Dieppe, will begin at 10 p.m.
So come out rain or shine, with your most festive red and white outfit on Sunday, July 1st and join us at Moncton’s Riverfront Park to celebrate Canada’s birthday. Don’t forget, socks and sandals are the in-thing this Canada Day!
