Tomorrow: Cloudy with a chance of flurries early in the morning. Clearing later. High zero. Wind chill minus 7 in the morning.

CBC: NB Power likely blew its storm damage budget — and it’s not even winter…three big outage events in the last few weeks and blammo…there goes the budget.
RCMP are searching for two teenage exchange students who went missing from Moncton. The two 17-year-olds from Vietnam were last seen November 9th at the Maritime bus depot, that’s also the VIA Rail terminal, in downtown Moncton boarding a bus for Montreal. Police believe the girls are headed for Toronto.

Moncton City Councillor Paul Pellerin told the CBC yesterday that he thinks the city can do more to help homeless people…he’s planning to introduce a motion at Monday’s council meeting to set aside $20,000 of city funds to help shelters and groups that work with the homeless in the city. Pellerin says: “I think we have an obligation to act”…

The Moncton Magic won their season opener on the road in Halifax last night 121-94! The Magic host the Halifax Hurricanes Saturday night for their very first home game at the Avenir Centre. Then on Sunday Cape Breton visits for a 2pm start.
