Moncton’s Food Depot Alimentaire says that they’ve outgrown their current warehouse location in the Caledonia Industrial Park…Food Depot chief Dale Hicks tells the CBC that last year the organization received about 750,000 pounds of food…and that’s on track to double this year…he says a lot of companies are donating food and it’s getting shipped to Moncton for free by CN. Tory Leader Blaine Higgs says he is making preparations this week to form a government. Higgs says he will meet with his caucus to discuss who will take on cabinet roles and how a Progressive Conservative government will proceed. He again called on Premier Brian Gallant to abandon plans to proceed to a throne speech this month in a bid to hold on to power. But Liberal M-L-A Jean-Claude D’Amours says his party is acting in a legitimate way having been invited by the province’s lieutenant governor to see if they can form a government.
