Codiac RCMP are looking for help from anyone who saw a man walking in the Teesdale Street area of Moncton on Tuesday evening with what may have been a couple of long guns. Police were called at approximately 7:05 p.m. on May 22nd when they received information that a man, believed to be in his 30s, wearing dark coloured pants, a dark coloured shirt and possibly a ball cap was seen carrying two firearms. Codiac RCMP arrested a 32 year old man early yesterday morning after an armed robbery at a convenience store in Moncton. Everything went down between 5-6 am after police were notified of a robbery at the Needs at 99 Morton Avenue. The man was arrested by police a short distance from the store as he attempted to leave the scene by car. RCMP seized a weapon believed to have been used during the robbery and also recovered stolen items.

Wonky weather yesterday…at one point here in Greater Moncton we had mist…with a severe thunderstorm watch and a frost advisry…meanwhile Bathurst got 5 cms of snow yesterday…this morning in Gander Newfoundland they’re reporting 25 cms of snow…and out west in Fort MacMurray it was hotter than Cancun, Mexico…32.5 degrees….

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan will play in the championship finals at the Memorial Cup in Regina. Bathurst didn’t even play last night but due to the host team Regina Pats beating Swift Current the Titan automatically advance to the final. Regina will play Hamilton tomorrow for the right to face Bathurst in the final.
