Nobody saw this one coming…gas prices are up 2.7¢ this morning to a new maximum of $1.26.5 a litre for regular self serve. All of our sources said that prices wouldn’t move at all. Prices are up 10.5¢ since the middle of March…the highest since the Fall of 2014…for no apparent reason.

It’s been confirmed by the city…if the Wildcats next series goes to a fifth game…that game will be played in Fredericton. City of Moncton spokesperson Isabelle Leblanc told the CBC yesterday that the Coliseum is already booked by the Radical Speedsport car show…and so a Cats “home playoff game” will happen at the Aitken centre next Friday night. Last time this happened in 2015 the city had to pay $125,000 to the team to help offset costs with moving a game…the city says they’re still calculating what the numbers will be this year.
