Police are investigating a possible bear spray attack that happened in the Elmwood Drive area of Moncton early yesterday morning. Police got a call at about 1:20 am yesterday about a injured person on Elmwood…RCMP told the Times & Transcript that when they got there they found he had been hurt, and he may have been assaulted with bear spray, but wouldn’t cooperate with police.

An accident in Riverview early yesterday morning sent three people to hospital. At about 1:45am Riverview Fire, Codiac RCMP and Ambulance NB responded to the head on collision in the 800 block of Coverdale Road. Road conditions in the area were slippery and snow covered at the time of the accident. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
