Work on the $13.7 million “dog-bone” roundabout interchange project on Harrisville Boulevard begins today. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure will close Route 15 on-ramps and off-ramps, while closing one lane across the Harrisville Boulevard bridge. Detour signs will be in place to direct traffic in the area. Motorists can expect significant congestion and delays in the vicinity of the interchange and on the surrounding street network.

The escape of a large bull that prompted police to issue a warning to residents of a small Nova Scotia town has come to a peaceful conclusion. By Monday afternoon, the bull had returned to the barn to feast on the hay inside. (Tony: I don’t know if it’s really a happy ending for the bull…he’s…uh…going to “the big hamburger factory in the sky”…)

Donte DiVincenzo scored 31 points to lift Villanova to another blowout tournament victory, beating Michigan 79-62 in the N-C-double-A men’s basketball championship final. The win gives Villanova its second title in three seasons. DeVincenzo had 12 points and an assist during a first-half run to help the Wildcats pull ahead, then scored nine straight midway through the second to put the game away.
