Gas prices didn’t move a bit last night… regular self serve is still selling for a maximum of $1.16 per litre. Diesel and furnace oil both dropped about a cent.

There was an earthquake last night in the Saint John area! Officials say it was a 2.3 magnitude…a seismologist with Natural Resources Canada, told the CBC that the quake was large enough that some people would have heard or felt it, but not big enough to do any harm.

The Weather Office is reporting that we got 16.2 cms of snow with this latest storm…that includes totals from Tuesday and Wednesday. Maybe they should measure again? Saint John got about 28 cms. Sunny Corner up near Miramichi is reporting 35 cms.

R-C-M-P has issued a warning that counterfeit 50-dollar Canadian bills have been passed in restaurants and convenience stores in Moncton and Dieppe. Police say they’ve received eight reports relating to counterfeit Canadian bills since March 5th. Police are advising merchants and the public to carefully examine 50-dollar Canadian bills passed their way.
RECALL: Ford is recalling roughly 1.3 million vehicles in North American, including over 60,000 in Canada, because of loose steering wheels.
Affected vehicles: certain Fusion and Lincoln MKZ models assembled between 2014 and 2018.
